@jessgill03 By ‘British university’, do you mean just the one you attend? You only started this year, and you’ve noticed all of this in just two months. This is good. Question everything - even your own views. Be prepared to be wrong, sometimes.
@CheshireLive Merseyrail or Trainline could publish a list of stations with no ticket printing machines - so people would know where they could print tickets in advance. This happened to me at Hooton (no ticket machine) and luckily I was allowed to print my tickets on arrival at Lime St.
@Natty08 Well done! They don’t hand out degree certificates like sweets. I don’t know you, but I 100% DO know that a Masters is HARD work - even without the discouragement and obstacles you faced. Make sure you celebrate your achievement!
@gracepetrie, from the straight man in the front row (who saw kd lang in concert when he was 16), THANK YOU for your brilliant show in Chester. Everyone should hear your story - so moving and funny. The world needs more people like you! Thanks.
Join me today (10-11am) on @radiodeeside for The Sunday Slowdown with music and chat with @bookofyou about a local project with veterans. Go to https://t.co/0asUeUdAEh to tune in.
@horsemusic Right, that’s me playing ‘Careful’ on my Sunday Slowdown show live on Radio Deeside (10-11am) tomorrow (https://t.co/0asUeUd2OJ) plus a Grace Petrie track. Any female musician wanting an interview (by phone), I can sort that too. Msg me. Great music is getting overlooked.
@horsemusic@gracepetrie Absolutely agree with everything you say, @gracepetrie. You should have a much higher profile than you do. I play your songs on my community radio shows all the time. Same for @horsemusic. I loved ‘Careful’ in my youth, but if I play it, people don’t know it! It’s criminal.
@russty_russ In the wake of Bobby Ball’s passing, the Cannon And Ball theme - Together We’ll Be OK is a lovely song tinged with sadness. But I love it. https://t.co/dAnslPAx7q
@russty_russ Kids’ TV themes were always the best - all of them: Jonny Briggs, Jossy’s Giants, Rentaghost, Mysterious Cities Of Gold … with honourable mentions for quiz shows - Bullseye, Blockbusters, Going For Gold.
@mikegarry@BBC6Music Beautiful, @mikegarry. Thank you. I was shocked at Terry Hall’s passing. He made such great music in so many different projects and collaborations from 1979 onwards. He will be missed.
