'I KNEW I WILL NOT BE AN ORDINARY SP'
Sen. Alan Peter Cayetano has released a new video on his personal #YouTube channel reflecting on his tenure as Senate President, saying he knew from the beginning that his leadership would be "anything but ordinary."
In the video, Cayetano said his time at the helm of the Senate was marked by economic challenges, political divisions and declining public trust, while emphasizing that the chamber should remain focused on lowering the cost of living, creating jobs, strengthening government accountability and ensuring public funds benefit Filipinos.
Now serving as Senate Minority Leader, Cayetano said public office is temporary, but the duty to uphold the truth and serve the #Filipino people remains.

BALIGOD SAYS EX-BODYGUARDS DID NOT ACCUSE SEN. PANGILINAN OF RECEIVING KICKBACKS
Atty. Levi Baligod clarified that the former bodyguards of businessman Zaldy Co did not accuse Senator Francis "Kiko" Pangilinan of receiving kickbacks or being involved in any alleged irregularities.
Speaking on #TheSpokes, Baligod explained that the photos shown during the presentation merely depicted Pangilinan and his wife, Sharon Cuneta, allegedly using helicopters and other air assets owned by Co during the 2025 campaign. He stressed that the images were presented as documentation of the use of those assets and were not intended to suggest that Pangilinan received money or participated in any wrongdoing.
Baligod added that no statements linking Pangilinan to alleged kickbacks were made by the former bodyguards during the presentation.

‘KUNG TRESE NA SILA, CONGRATULATIONS. WE KNOW HOW YOU GOT IT — SA PANANAKOT, PANUNUHOL’
WATCH: Senator Alan Peter Cayetano hinted that the bloc of acting Senate President Win Gatchalian may have already secured 13 votes to formally take over the Senate presidency.
He alleged that members of Gatchalian’s group pressured some senators from his bloc to switch sides — an accusation previously denied by Gatchalian’s camp.
In the petition filed with the Supreme Court, Senators Joel Villanueva and Mark Villar were not among the nine senators led by Cayetano who are seeking to nullify the June 3 Senate session that installed Gatchalian as Acting Senate President and reorganized Senate leadership posts. | @eimorpsantos
I get that she lost her child, but something seems...is off the right word? Something seems off about Rene Baterbonia's mother and her handling of her son's death.
The mother of late Ateneo player Rene Baterbonia said Agusan del Sur governor tapped Jimmy Bondoc and Israelito Torreon to help their family with legal matters. Talacogon, Agusan del Sur is Baterbonia's hometown.

Jalen Brunson got married young to his high school sweetheart instead of wasting his 20s chasing cheap pleasure that leads to destruction.
Now, he’s going to spend his 30s as a multi-millionaire NBA champion, husband, father, enjoying the fruits of his self-control.
If he fully commits to his family, he will be happier than 100% of the dudes on here advising men to obsess about money and sleeping with as many women as possible.

“BEING DIFFERENT IS OKAY”
READ: Vice President Sara Duterte’s open letter to Rep. Kiko Barzaga today, June 3, 2026.
This comes after the House of Representatives expelled Barzaga over disorderly behavior and conduct unbecoming of a House member, including repeated failure to perform his duty as a lawmaker.
“It takes grit to be yourself in a world that rewards conformity. Not everyone will understand your choices or the path you take, and that's okay. What matters is staying true to who you are and what you believe in,” part of the message said. | via @_iancruz
