@THEVectoriousB@937theFan Potential is one word you could use. More accurately I think the word is Hope. They hoped the young starters would figure it out. Nope. They hoped the improved lineup would stay healthy. Nope. They hoped the Blowpen wouldn’t blow. Nope. Waited too long to get help.
@aphthakid@RRevine@JoshYohe_PGH These type takes are so dumb. The league finally figured him out a bit. It’s his turn to counter. And he will. No professional is going out to deliberately coast or look bad.
@PaulZeise They will make some small inconsequential move. And we will hear the famous,,,,,we were close on this guy. I hate it, but I wouldn’t make trades just to make trades. But Cherington may because his job is in jeopardy. Remember what Huntington did at the end of his tenure??
@RyneRPO@CodifyBaseball Do you actually believe that a MLB player of Skenes caliber is OK with looking mediocre or worse in hopes of getting traded?? Wow! Real dumb statement.
@npc210 Haha, what?!?!?
Take a good look at the 6789 bums in the lineup. Not to mention the 2 unearned runs. The lineup and Pen are the problem. Skenes can’t shutout MLB teams consistently. Cmon now.
@MarkMaddenX There are MLB teams that will grind him down. Our lineup still doesn’t grind down elite arms. Skenes is primarily matched with their # 1. He is not going 7 and giving up 1 or less every start. If you expect that you’re foolish.
@kameron_jacob@KDPomp Haha, yea it’s the bullpen coaches fault. The dumbest thing I’ve read for a while on here. Do yourself a favor and wait 24 hours before you post. I bet you don’t even bother. Or, if do, you don’t come off as so idiotic.
