@GrecianGirly What I find fascinating is at that time, 79AD, the rich lived in huge seaside villas, with pools! And there were tourists visiting coastal resorts and beaches. Fresh water was piped to all towns & cities,public baths were the norm.Whereas in Britain…🥶 😞
