@AlexFinn I've been lazy on keeping an archive of my projects and next steps, these are good hacks especially with notion. I'm having astra set up notion for each project so all AI models have a source of truth to follow.
Welcome to AGI. ChatGPT 6 Astra just released
In the announcement, Greg Brockman claims this is the AGI era, and Astra might be the first model there
Here is everything you need to know:
1. It is rolling out to businesses now. Personal accounts over the next few days
2. Largest training run ever. 100,000 GPUs used in Stargate, Texas (my Mac Mini collection needs to catch up)
3. Dominates on almost every benchmark
4. Reasoning for this model is incredibly difficult to monitor. Will be very hard to distill
5. Pricing is double that of GPT 5.6 Sol. Right around Fable 5.1 pricing
6. Built for AI agent work (really excited to get this in my Hermes)
7. The model that puts them ahead of Anthropic allegedly
I absolutely cannot WAIT to get this into my account and will be refreshing every 5 seconds. We have been blessed to get this before a long holiday weekend
We are living through the most exciting time to be alive EVER.
I think it's really important to take a second to pause and be appreciative of what we are experiencing- innovation at a pace never before seen in our species
One day we will look back and view this as the good old days
@0xMorlex Watched the Grok Bot section. Giving one agent the inbox and another the research loop, then just hitting approve on the important stuff is exactly how it’s been working on my end. The busywork disappears fast.
@burstmethod@necozi_photo hauling the gear around events needs to be talked about more, learning to pack light with the essentials is crucial unless you have a spot on site to store your gear
@Teslaconomics@cursor_ai@SpaceXAI I’m curious to see if a grok bot can help me reconcile my books since we’re able to connect it to our finances. Having it automate that process would super helpful
@ptrackrman would be cool to see developments look like the future but it always confuses me in drawings like this for the rockets to be so close to buildings, launch pads would need to be further away due to the noise and explosion from the launch
Spent today at ASD Market Week walking booths with a second shooter.
Pitch was simple. Photos plus a 30 second social video, edited the same day.
Most of these booths spent a lot of money and time getting here and had nothing to show for it after the show. No photos. No clip. Nothing to post.
3 out of 4 said yes. They just hadn’t thought about walking out with assets.
This is the kind of work I want RDNZ Media doing. Show up, shoot the booth, hand them something they can use tonight.
Gave my @bot full access to the Benable account a couple days ago.
It published a new list: “Nikon Z Event Kit I Actually Shoot With.” Ten items of real gear I take to jobs, not a wishlist.
Within minutes Benable marked it Optimized. This was pretty mind blowing. I’ve been pretty lazy updating this account but now I just have to tell my bot what kind of list to make and it’s done.
These are the tests I’m running with my grok bots.

Saw a Facebook post this morning. Someone needed event coverage in Vegas this weekend.
I screenshotted it, dropped it on my @bot, and went back to other work. I told it to draft an email quote.
A few minutes later the draft was sitting there with the correct email contact. I read it once. Pricing was right. Sounded like how I actually quote and I hit send.
This was a perfect opportunity to test out the grok bot, instead of me having to curate a personal email I'm able to let grok bot handle that while I work on other projects.
Saturday I said I still hit send. That lasted about two days.
Now I read the draft, let @bot schedule send it, then check it actually went. SnapTemplate Co, Desert Party Supplies, RDNZ Media.
The send button was the part I thought I'd keep. Is anyone else having their bots send emails?
From the inbox, 52 new orders sitting with 170 order updates, customer threads, the 15 outreach emails, and 81 promo threads. Now it’s labeled: New Orders, Order updates, Customers, Outreach, Noise.
The bot watches every hour, 8 to 7, weekends included.
If someone replies to the outreach, I get a draft. I still send it.
That’s the loop. List, approve, send, file, watch.
SnapTemplate Co update.

I put @bot on the template business this weekend. Not to design templates. To run the operator inbox and the outreach I kept meaning to send.
Saturday: 15 photo booth operators, nationwide. One email. I fixed the homepage link and the signature first. Then I hit send. The bot does not send for me.
RDNZ Media used to lose coverage inquiries. I was the inbox.
Now the inquiry gets seen and I get a proper draft waiting. I still hit send. There’s one follow up sitting and scheduled for Monday morning.
Desert Party Supplies is on the same system, as new bookings come in.
I’m putting Grok @bot on all my businesses, starting with two monitoring tasks for Desert Party Supplies and RDNZ Media.
Not to write ads, but to watch the inboxes. When a new inquiry comes in, I get a draft. I review it before anything sends.
I used to miss coverage inquiries at RDNZ Media. That’s the part that actually changed.
