Tuesday marked the MLB-worst 21st blown lead loss for the White Sox. They’ve blown a lead in 46% of the games they’ve lost this year, per MLB Gameday Notes.
@StonecoldSxnick And the schedule really isn’t going to get much easier. This is easily one of the worst MLB teams of all time. Little to no talent and ran by one of the worst managers I have ever seen. Embarrassing.
Games vs. teams with >=.500 records:
37 CWS
34 HOU
32 TOR
29 MIN NYM OAK
28 LAA
26 BOS
24 SEA
23 DET
22 NYY TEX PIT CIN MIA
21 KC SD
20 MIL ARI
19 CLE
18 BAL ATL
17 STL
16 WSH
15 CHC TB COL
13 SF
9 LAD
3 PHI
@StonecoldSxnick I’d say give Brad Keller a few more chances but we already know what kind of pitcher he is, he’s been a subpar pitcher his whole career. We need to see Nastrini or Cannon up. They have potential to do very well. Rather have someone up who could be good than someone that isn’t.
@Bda_co The future is bright despite what negative parts of WST says. We have a few decent bats coming up (Ramos, Quero and Colson) and a ton of good pitching as well. I can’t wait to see where this team will be in 2-3 seasons from now.
Korey Lee as it stands right now:
.309 AVG/.341 OBP/.835 OPS
Fastest pop time, second strongest arm in baseball among catchers, per Baseball Savant.
For the first time in a LONG time, the Chicago White Sox have a bright future at the catcher position.
