My dad had a huge Oxford dictionary and another one with multiple SA languages. I used it to learn what certain words mean in Xhosa, Zulu, Pedi and Afrikaans as a Setswana-Sotho speaking child. And then make try to make sentences in other languages.
It was soo much fun π
As a teacher. This is my biggest nightmare.
English is a language that a child can still learn at 5/6 years and they can do very well at it. Look at me π
I'm scared for the kids honestly π€π½
Obtaining a degree means you've acquired a lot of basic knowledge on concepts. But doing postgraduate, has been a ride of realisations because of the amount of reading I'm doing.

Academic writing takes a lot from me in the beginning. I'm very pedantic about my structure and never want to lose the message I'm trying to relay.
But when I read that paper when I'm done, I feel soo proud of myself πππ½
@noeleensaid I'm literally commenting and shouting "yerrrr monna o ke stlaela" "WHAT DO YOU EVEN MEAN?!!" "What the f*k!!!"
I'm in disbelief and think if I had to go to this show with one of my ex, someone else would be shouting "ngwanyano ke stlaela, why would she do that" ππ€¦π½ββοΈ
