Fellow Ugandans, I salute you all.
Today is February 24, 2026, another day in hiding and on the run as a fugitive even when there’s no crime committed.
I want to thank all who are observing the fasting season — Catholics like myself, Muslims. God didn’t design this by coincidence that we have fasted within the same season. It’s an honor.
Some things are deliberately done by God to bring us together and show us that even when we are from different religious denominations, we have the same problems and the same response.
This period warrants us all to unite our hearts, our souls, and brains to do the right thing for us and our children.
Yesterday, we spoke to the European Parliament and we echoed our issues. Even though this parliament had summoned the Ugandan ambassador to the EU, she was a no-show.
Museveni appointed this European lady (Mirjaan Blaak) to represent Uganda in the EU. As you know, these appointments are never on merit but on very selfish reasons.
Because she didn’t have any defense for the atrocities committed on Ugandans back home, she chose to abscond. But we were present and we made our case even when they are trying to brush it off.
I want to inform you that the money that sustains Museveni and Uganda is largely sourced from Europe. This money comes as loans and grants, with the citizens as guarantors, and the payment is a burden on the taxpayers.
So it’s important to inform the EU to cut this aid because it’s the cause of our endless suffering.
Yesterday, there was supposed to be a mass held for Dr. Kizza Besigye and other political prisoners, but in an act of shamelessness, Museveni ordered the cancellation of these prayers.
Imagine that even a mere mass now requires clearance from the state.
This should provoke us to unite and fight for our freedom. This is the best time for us to unite and do what we are supposed to do for the sake of our children and grandchildren.
Thank you for your attention. I wish you a blessed fasting season.
To you, my brothers and sisters in the Catholic, Anglican, and Muslim communities, I wish you a blessed fasting season. Peace be upon you!

Happy Birthday @HEBobiwine I know 'celebrating' feels impossible right now, but please know we are marking the day you entered this world with so much pride. You are more than the walls closing in or the people chasing you. You are loved, you are brave. Stay safe, stay smart.
You took a bold step, a step away from comfort and fame, a step few dared to take. A step that changed the political rhythm of this nation. Like David before Goliath, you did not count the cost of your own life. It was dangerous, yes, but it awakened a country.
You reshaped the mind of an entire generation — a generation trapped under dictatorship, a generation that once ignored the daily governance of its own nation. A generation lost in bars, parties, football, petty talks and empty pursuits. But you gave it a new song to follow, and we followed. As Scripture says, “You turned our mourning into dancing.”
You went further — you reunited a divided people, broken by tribe, religion and region, into one voice. Like Nehemiah rebuilding broken walls, you gathered us from regions, religions and clans and made us believe again. You showed us we are worthy citizens, that we all deserve equal rights in our own land.
Today, no one knows where you are. Your once-beautiful home has been taken by the state and turned into a barracks — now occupied by men who never built it, who never felt the sweat of an ordinary Ugandan. They live off our tears. And the Bible says, “Woe to those who build their houses by injustice.” Shame.
You are worth celebrating, Mr. President. This nation will always honor you and your entire household for the gift of life and courage you shared and continue to share with us. As it is written, “A good name is better than riches.”
I miss you. I pray you are safe and healthy wherever you are. May the Lord be your shield and your fortress. May He strengthen and guide you until we reach the vision God placed in your heart — because deep inside you, all you desire is a better country for all.
Happy Birthday, Mr. President @HEBobiwine

Happy 44th Birthday, my leader, my mentor, and my friend, President @HEBobiwine. You have stood firm in the face of intimidation, choosing sacrifice over comfort, and country over self. #BobiWineAt44
Another year older, another year wiser and still looking younger than the system you are fighting.
May your microphone stay louder than the critics.
Happy Birthday My President @HEBobiwine
