First Virtual Reach for Reading was a success. EL families want to learn more ways to support their children, especially during a pandemic and in a virtual environment. EL families seek opportunities to engage with the school community. Let’s create these opportunities!
If you’re #teaching virtually, consider family lessons once a week or so. Incorporate buddy reading, listening & speaking, or partner games. Why not capitalize on the home setting? Older/younger siblings, aunts & uncles, grandparents, parents, everyone is welcome! #ESL#ELL
