There is a quiet tragedy woven into the fabric of modern manhood. It is not merely that men struggle. Every human being does. It is that many men have come to believe their struggles are most honourable when carried in solitude. Somewhere between expectation and identity, silence became a virtue, endurance became a creed, and vulnerability was mistaken for failure.
The consequence is not the absence of pain but its migration. What is denied a voice inevitably finds another means of expression. It settles into weary eyes, restless nights, fractured relationships, neglected health, impulsive decisions, and hearts that have grown accustomed to surviving rather than living. Suffering that is never spoken about does not disappear. It simply changes form.
Perhaps the greatest irony is that many men long to be understood while making themselves inaccessible. They lament the absence of support, yet construct lives so guarded that even genuine compassion has nowhere to land. We have become fluent in concealment and then wonder why no one recognises the wounds hidden beneath composure.
True discipleship is lived out in consistent, everyday choices.

Shall I tell you the name of what they're eating and how it helped the British win the Spanish Invasion war (Spanish Armada)of 1588?
What they are eating is called shipworm. It's not actually a worm. To put it simply, it is more relate to snails than worms. If you've seen my documentary on geoducks, just see shipworms as geoducks without shells, that live in trees. If you're not interested in its significance in the Spanish Invasion, you can stop reading now. If you are curious about how this animal helped the British win the war, you can continue reading the thread.
