PROBPROG 2021 will take place online on Wed Oct 20 – Fri Oct 22 this year. The deadline for extended abstracts and syndicated submissions is Thu May 6 AOE. See https://t.co/fdlvpQFLD8 for information and submission instructions!
The preprint of our @FSEconf paper "A Principled Approach to GraphQL Query Cost Analysis" is now available: https://t.co/PBIvn99WfI
And I am delighted to share that it received an ACM Distinguished Paper Award 🏆
I am talking about it at 12 pm PST on https://t.co/WMYE2ZV3Mr
We present a static cost analysis for #GraphQL queries, and apply it to the public APIs of GitHub and Yelp. We show that our approach always produces upper cost bounds, and that our bounds are tighter than in existing work (scientific/open-source). Will share a preprint shortly.
Tuesday at 12PM PST, @tonyghita and I are chatting with @erikwittern from IBM about GraphQL research! 🤓
We'll talk about their recent paper called "A Principled Approach to GraphQL Query Cost Analysis", generating GraphQL from OpenAPI, and more!

GraphQL queries can be expensive. With a bit of formalization, you can estimate their cost. (ESEC/FSE'20 🏆)

Delighted to see the post "GraphQL Query Generator by IBM" by @TomPoniat on HN - especially since Tomek is another MtG aficionado! Check it out at https://t.co/LgYMacdCMm Or find our library at https://t.co/3zctSMeHOG
Que diriez-vous de parler "langages applicatifs" bien au chaud dans le Périgord début février 2021? Pas de doute, il n'y a aucune raison de ne pas soumettre aux JFLAs! Deadline : 1er octobre. https://t.co/b7bNFraZic
