When we become transparent with our students, they get to see just how much we love and care for them. They also get to see that their struggles are just like ours and they can make it just like we did. Use your story, don’t hide it. Let them in and love them along my the way.
Parents: It’s not your job to raise a professional athlete. Focus on your child’s work ethic, character & respect. Teach them passion, hard work, how to be a great teammate, & how to own their mistakes. Teach them how to overcome & believe they will never get what they don’t earn
