@catherinespaws i’m hearing that they’re mean and you disagree with them and that’s about it. none of this suggests to me that they’re inauthentic with their beliefs or that they’re saying these things bc they need validation from people who don’t like queer people
@toastman451629@undisputedhaze@Glacy_67 how is that the case when you’ve based everything on an axiom? i simply have to not buy into your assumption that these things are moral
@toastman451629@undisputedhaze@Glacy_67 i was under the impression that you thought this was objective and/or better than other forms of meta ethics. if you’re just justifying this axiomatically then idrc, you’re on the same ground as any other system
@toastman451629@undisputedhaze@Glacy_67 i’m asking the former. why do they constitute goodness? what is goodness defined by? where is the foundation of your metaethical view?
@toastman451629@undisputedhaze@Glacy_67 there’s a lot to pick apart here but i’ll focus on this. you define God as the moral standard as he is all good but goodness is contained within this argument. you must define goodness without presupposing goodness
@StanchFagtastic@DEATH1DASHER@l4dyakane it is absolutely comparable. the definition of black precludes a white person from being black under any circumstance just as the definition of lesbian precludes men from being lesbian under any circumstances. you can have a complex experience with your racial identity as well
@StanchFagtastic@DEATH1DASHER@l4dyakane yeah yeah emotional appeal. if a white person grew up around black people they do not become black bc they’re so attached to that community and culture. you cannot be a man and a lesbian, it is directly contradictory. you can still be close with the community, but you are a MAN
