Steph and Draymond

[The New York Times @nytimes]

From @TheAthletic: If the Indiana Fever ever wants to go back to being a basketball team, Sophie Cunningham has to go, our columnist writes. "Cunningham is too combustible, her takes too turbulent to be paired with Caitlin Clark."  https://t.co/X3eXkxlgDh

How it feels waking up post Labor Day weekend

[Kevin O'Connor @KevinOConnor]

I wish Steph Curry could play forever

Just wanted to show Steph Curry's spacing.

Yes, that's a 41% 3pt shooter at the top of the key

Yes, at the wing that's the player with the 2nd most made threes in the last 5 years.

Both are wide open.

Both mean absolutely NOTHING when Steph Curry is on the floor...even when driving for a layup.

And finally, YES. All 5 black Rockets jerseys are in the paint in case that wasn't obvious.

How is your team's superstar being guarded?

Doran should change his name to Zoran. Problem fixed. You don't mess with the Zoran.

In October 2012, I chatted with a 24-yr-old Steph Curry while he stood in a hot dog line before an Oakland #Athletics playoff game. He expressed hope that one day the atmosphere in the arena where he played could match the excitement of an A's playoff game at the Coliseum.

[Justice For Oakland Fans @jvb43]

Another Oakland Coliseum classic: Ramon Hernandez’s walk-off bunt in game 1 of the 2003 ALDS. In front of a great crowd of 50,606 Oakland fans. The legendary Bill King on the call.

Why can’t I find a clip of KD’s block anywhere? That play was insane.

[reader pee @readerpee]

Shout out to Durant who had LeBron James wide open and AD in the weak side corner for a 2 on 1 but opts to toss it back to Chef because he knew Curry was on one and had to let him cook. Everybody in the world wanted to see Steph get the ball back.

College of the Sequoias supporters cheer on former Giant Quincy Hall, who just won the men’s 400 meter gold medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Congrats!

Clip of 2019 AL WC game featuring shots of Oakland crowd of 54,005.

Crowds like this could’ve been normal if John Fisher invested in team, committed to Oakland, & treated fans with respect.

Don’t believe me? A’s drew nearly 3 million fans in 1990, when above 3 things were true.

Draymond Green ended the year shooting 39.5% on threes

[reader pee @readerpee]

I believe in @Money23Green. He can easily get back to shooting 38% from 3pt. I think it'd help if he got back to his MSU shooting form

[Aasin 🏳️‍⚧️ @aasinitall]

Steph and Klay: hey we’re open pass the ball

Chris Paul and Dario Saric:

[reader pee @readerpee]

Big news: Warriors acquire a playoff tested, gritty, defensive stopper that is shooting 43% on 3s this year

Welcome back @Money23Green

The NBA has reinstated Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green after 12-game suspension, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium. Green has been undergoing counseling for several weeks along with holding progress meetings with the league and Warriors.

Some of us still believe in Draymond

[Brandin Podziemski @brandinpodziem2]

2 years ago at this time I had 17 DNP and only played garbage time, 1 year ago at this time I wasn’t on any draft boards, 5 months ago all I heard was that I was bust. Started the year out of the rotation and now I’m starting for the best franchise in the NBA! #ificandoityoucan2

Why doesn’t Moses Moody play more minutes? I thought the point of basketball was to win.

[Charlie Cummings @klaytheist11]

Moses Moody this season:

+5.2 on/off
-Allowing 106 pts per 100 while on the court (89th percentile)
-38% on above-the-break threes
-98th percentile steal rate for wings
-86th percentile foul rate
-53% in the midrange

What else does he need to do to get more minutes?

[NBA @NBA]

THE ENDING TO WARRIORS-KINGS 😱

- Steph floater to go up by 1 with 0:32 left
- Sabonis jumper reclaims the lead at 14.5
- Klay calls GAME with 0.2 on the clock

WOW.
