@CrazyVibes_1 I think it's fine to adopt at your age but look at elderly cats and just make sure you can afford the vets bills and have a contingency if you are in hospital or anything happens to you. You could look at rehoming pages for a gentle senior who would be a lovely companion.

@AaronBastani I am so angry about this. If you are that 'anxious' you should be unselfish and stop driving. You should not drive recklessly and put others lives at risk. I despair of the sentencing. The standard of driving was appalling. She should have a very long ban.

@owenjonesjourno Leaving aside the sexuality of the paedophilic child abusing murderers, why should a baby be denied a mother? So few babies come up for adoption, his needs should have been paramount, not two gay men wanting to adopt. Does anyone know if they asked for a boy? So many questions.

@DeborahMeaden The question is where have they gone? Mainly HMOs in local communities. People are perhaps more angered by that than hotels. Your house will become unsaleable if you have an HMO next door never mind other issues.

@stephenpollard Stephen, my Smart TV has YouTube installed on it and anyone can watch it without signing in so it will be possible for most children to bypass the ban anyway. I agree this hasn't been thought through properly.

@MaryKenny4 How do you try towels in winter? It is very unhealthy to dry washing on radiators etc. It doesn't dry on a line in the winter when it's cold and not windy. Poor people can't afford heat pump dryers. So depressing how lives of poor people are made more difficult.

@TheAliceSmith There's an article in the Daily Mail today about the asylum seekers who raped a woman in Brighton. They quote a 74 yr old who says 'it's not that I don't think they should be in the UK, just not in this hotel'. Why on earth would he think they should be in the UK? Brainwashed.

@ZoeJardiniere He wasn't incapacitated by the taser. The kicks are to prompt him to put his hands up to protect his head, therefore dropping the knife. He might have had an explosive device - they didn't have any idea what he was capable of. Hindsight is not fair in this situation.
