Clearly there is plenty of rock samphire (Crithmum maritimum) left on the Isle of Wight - this healthy clump near Dinosaur Isle in Sandown @Isleofwight
Mermaid gin is made here - Isle of Wight Distillery. The #gin includes rock samphire (Crithmum maritimum #Apiaceae) which gives a slightly salty tang. Perhaps the best marketing ploy is the blue bottle! The Bodicea hops are grown @Ventnor_Botanic - photographed yesterday.
