its a very interesting behind the scenes look at modern hollywood. ngl, i felt more attached to juniper than kai. a very strong start but sort of flagged near the end, and i wish there had been more to the ending. john green as always, phenomenal writer.

my allergies have been so bad recently that my nurse mom is making me take antihistamines regularly to manage it 😭 lowkey my fault that it got this bad because i hate how sleepy my allergy meds make me so i dont take them unless the allergies are already Really Bad
a quarter of the way in, and while its not quite exactly reaching 4 stars yet, there's just something so warm and comforting in this ? like talking to an old friend type of familiar
needed something less heavy after 2 horror books in a row sooo im picking up john green's latest book and im lowkey excited hes like the Foundation of my earliest young adult reading experiences
spooky and definitely had a lot of knot in my stomach moments...some parts dragged a little, writing can be a bit better, but still really entertaining

I think y’all need to stop holding this series up as a pinnacle of social commentary. No, Suzanne Collins does not “only write when she has something to say,” she just wants to add more books, but also it’s not exploitative for an author to add to her own series. It’s Her series.
ok i think the reading for 48 hours is a dud because i've had so much to do today but i think the progress is decent ? i finished my current read last night and rn im about 40% of the book i actually started during the readathon...i think i can finish this one tonight too
