@benatherton Great to hear! Excited to share more soon about what we're going to be up to. Including summer fitness training, awards night, and an FA Cup Final Official sharing their experience
@CTYFCChairman@TheRefereeForum Sounds like a lot of referees need to look at registering for self assessment and keeping a tally of all expenses and mileage for that return ๐ก
Unpopular opinion? If you're already 30s over the minimum time to be added, and quite clearly the attacking team is in no hurry to take the corner, sure, blow for half-time. You've allowed the time, they've decided not to use it.
Congratulations to Michael McDonagh of Reading, drawing on St John Ambulance and Network Rail training, Michael sustained CPR for 20 minutes on a collapsed goalkeeper, which helped save his life.

Why do this? Previous experience is a fundamental part of self-efficacy (how confident we are that we can complete a task). In my new journal for sports officials, this is a key feature. Sports officials can reflect on how they have met demands of the role to develop confidence.

Good advice and in The Sports Official's Journal I provide pre and post-match exercises for officials in all sports to complete so they can recover from mistakes and promote resilience.

A defender (Team A) attempts to kick the ball out of the penalty area. The ball deflects off another defender (Team A) and goes to an attacker (Team B), who has been in an offside position since the first defender kicked the ball. The attacker controls the ball and is unfairly challenged (careless tackle) by an opponent inside Team Aโs penalty area.
What is the correct decision?
