🕯 On Saturday, allies and members of the LGBTQ+ community mourned the loss of Brianna Ghey at a vigil which featured addresses from @RdgTransAction, @Reading_Pride trustees, and members of the public.

Here we are! Stood against oppression! Stood against hatred! Stand with us! Stand up against this wave of hate! Shout out in support! Fight alongside us!
Say her name!
Brianna!

@ImogenSD@Reading_Pride@WokinghamBC This is a great thing, I've just seen things about this across Twitter. Unfortunately, we still see people disrespecting her after her death in the most heinous of ways. These people have no shame.
It was my absolute honour to run last night's vigil!
I am so proud of our community, coming together and speaking with such passion, sadness, and anger.
We cannot allow our Trans siblings to be buried in the annals of time and forgotten.
Remember her name!
Brianna!
Some beautiful pictures of last night's vigil for #BriannaGhey by @RdgTransAction.
Thank you to everyone who turned up, we will be having a highlights video of the speeches on its way today/tomorrow, once it's out of the cutting room!
