The U.S. adult population is about 260 million. Plenty of those people can't vote, but when you see that 73 million people voted for Trump and 69 million voted for Kamala, remember that well over 100 million didn't vote. And that rarely makes it into the diagnosis.
What’s misleading this graphic is Trump didn’t add votes. He had 3 million fewer than ‘20. What this doesn’t show you is Harris got 14 million fewer votes than Biden did in ‘20. Because no compelling case beyond “not that guy” was made to show up for her.
The thing about a political strategy that focuses on winning affluent voters is that under capitalism there are simply more working class people than there are capitalists or professional managers
"He has done more for Earth" like do the clowns who say that hear themselves? An utterly meaningless phrase that is not true by any metric, obviously. Bootlicking nonsense.
The Democratic Party won’t learn from this. We’re the ones who need to learn, build, and organize towards mass people power that is actually a compelling alternative to fascism and can beat it with a transformative vision and economic gains for people across the working class.
