I will be keeping my placard for another time. Sadly, I think "protest is a human right" will be relevant for a while.

I know it's scary, but we have to keep defying these laws! Let's show how silly and absurd they are! And, together, we will win!

Anyway, people got arrested today for holding placards and wearing t-shirts. The police were using facial recognition vans and treating protesters like criminals. When our freedoms are under attack, we have to be ready to defend them. Because if not now, when?

...It was raining pretty hard. My favourite chant from the anti-monarchy protests was "End the reign! End the rain!"
