As part of our Courageous advocacy Y5 were visited by Sharon (along with Evie and Colin!) from @pendledogsinneed She talked about their charity and the excellent work that they do. Thank you Sharon! Y5 will be having a cake sale in the near future to raise funds.
A huge thank you to Padiham Fire Station for visiting our Reception children. They loved learning all about the different types of rescues that the firefighters carry out and all the equipment that they wear to keep them safe.

Reception class are learning about people who help us. We were very lucky to have a visit from a postman who told us all about his job. We loved hearing about the special tool that post people use to stop their fingers getting bitten by a dog!

A big well done to our dancers this week who have ran 5km and raised over Β£1000! Amazing efforts from them and all the other children who joined in with their runs, well done everyone!
Today our Year 5 and 6 class had a special visit from sports journalist Gareth Walker. They looked at rounders and how the popularity has grown over the years. The children have written their own newspaper articles based on the history of rounders.
Some of our amazing Year 6βs enjoyed a game of Glow Dodgeball at @oakhillschoolwhalley this week, as always they were a delight and great representatives of our school!
