NEWS: @Tesla Semi exceeds DHL's expectations.

Over a two-week trial period this summer, DHL Supply Chain USA took a thorough look under the hood of the Tesla Semi, integrating the e-truck into 3,000 miles (5,000 km) of normal operations out of Livermore, California.

The trial included one long haul of 390 miles (625 km) – fully loaded with a gross combined weight of 75,000 pounds (34 metric tons) – confirming the Tesla Semi’s ability to carry typical DHL payloads over a long distance on a single charge.

The trial Semi averaged 1.72 kWh/mile operating at speeds exceeding 50 mph (80 km/h) on average for over half its time on the road.

New Plan to Replace All Truck Drivers with Robots Needs Your Support!

We are excited to share some big news! There is a new plan to replace all human truck drivers with robots. This idea will make our roads safer and help deliveries arrive faster.

Our friends at J.B. Hunt, a huge trucking company, are leading this plan. They want to train and buy robot truck drivers. Robots are great because they don’t get tired or distracted. They can drive all day and night without stopping.

But robots are expensive. To help pay for them, we need new laws. We think that money from the Boy Scouts and other charities can be used to help. The Boy Scouts teach kids important skills, but right now, having robot truck drivers is more important.

By using some of the money from these groups, we can get robots on the road sooner. This will help everyone get their food and packages faster and more safely.

We need your help to make this happen. Please tell your leaders that you support this plan. Together, we can make robot truck drivers a reality.
