@upandafter@kpottermn There was one airline that used to do this from NYC to London pretty sure. I think they folded during the pandemic unfortunately.
@x3mity@johnloeber@TheMattBeebe@Delta I assume by partner airline they mean a Delta Connection flight (hence the need for the Delta app still). I used to fly on Republic a lot under Delta and none of their regional jets had the new WiFi.
@drewisjamming@seastrxck Right now the platforms are lower than the boarding doors so you need ramps to roll on. The plan is to rebuild the platform higher so they're at the same level as the doors and ramps won't be needed. They've been doing this at all of the new/rebuilt stations.
@sjs856@BiffShackleford@CarlHigbie I agree with you on the safety and efficacy of the MMR vaccine. People should get vaccinated.
But as to your specific example, isn't water poisoning/intoxication a thing? This is why I feel like root cause attribution for deaths gets silly after a point.
@AndreTI@CarlLately@JosephPolitano In fact I'm pretty sure when you first use Waymo they tell you that they can remotely operate the vehicle if needed.
@TheNotoriousHRT@WillExists_ Worse, I think this unintentionally makes Fairmount and Morton as red line stops without a commuter rail connection. They're not indicated as transfers like Mattapan.
@myCDHands@JoshRaby There have been accidents where a plane was down within 15 seconds, it's unfortunately not nearly as long as we'd all hope.
But you're right! Pilots are trained to take stock of the situation first and evaluate their options, very rarely do they intentionally crash a plane.
@rebane2001 Google Assistant can do this and I use it all the time. "Set a timer for 9am" and then it helpfully let's me know how much time between then and now.
If one-off alarms were easier to create then it'd fill that niche, but I don't want a bunch of alarms to clean up.
