Download the offline installer of any of your games on GOG, save it to a disc and it's yours forever.
You don't need a storefront's permission to play what you bought.
Movies still come on Blu-ray, music is still pressed on vinyl and books still fill store shelves. But as Sony moves to phase out physical PlayStation releases, many gamers are asking why video games should be the first major entertainment medium to go all digital. https://t.co/FagoUG3JVU
Our Lead Concept Artist is a fan of @erling and wanted to give him a Spartan shoutout before today's match with this amazing art.
Who are you backing in the World Cup?
Atomic Heart is $34 at EBGames on disc, $107.95 on the PSN Store.
Anyone who thinks that removing the *option* to use discs is completely fucked in the head.

@PaulTassi Anecdotal, but I have a friend that would have bought a Series X solely for Fable if it was exclusive. I definitely think system sellers still exist but it's subjective to taste.
@GenePark Wouldn't be the first time I've bought a console just so I could play a specific exclusive (at the time) game, but like someone else said, I think you factor what future use you can get from the platform also.
@vicious696@GenePark I bought a PS4 (pro) solely for Final Fantasy VII Remake. You could say I'm not an average consumer but that's just my experience.
@Shpeshal_Nick Wouldn't say everyone is too entrenched to switch - seen enough people move from console to PC in recent years, which shows they're happy to take the hit of re-establishing their libraries if they've got good enough reason to move into that ecosystem.
But also that's PC, not Xbox
