Alienating collegues/teammates is a stupid move and if that's what your GB team is doing then they should bring up their gripes with, as you basically mentioned, people who can make a change... and that's not people in the same pay band 🫠
...GB isn't allowed to sit at my store, most of us are zoned for visuals and ops support, we're expected to resolve cx issues, repair their faith in Apple as well as their device plus sell AC+ standalone, get biz intros, refer for connected, pitch subscriptions and support PZ.
I feel like this entire thread is bred out of 0 knowledge of what working on the GB is actually like. You're on the outside looking in and think you've got it worse. Neither of us do. We have different scopes and role descriptions but we're all held responsible for cx experience.
Hmm, it’s almost as if cutting hours, not backfilling positions when people leave, and asking the remaining staff to multitask/do one-to-many interactions is having a negative affect on the customer experience. I’m shocked ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

So this whole being available on both weekend days for PT is some BS. I don’t think anyone asked for this change. Having 1 weekend days off was one of the reason that drew me to work there. Pretty sure the next round of Pulse is gonna be shit for the stores.
Thinking of the customers that come in store ostensibly because they “need help” but in reality they’re lonely and want to talk to someone or at worst they’re horny and want to hit on employees. Now they can do it from the comfort of their home 🙃
@FRSwoes It's gotta be soon cause I already got a warning last month for having 2 lates. Also had quite a few people get let go for various reasons already. I've only called out once in January and once in February so far.
Most of Apple Support T1 seems to be contracted out, so here are some REALLY basic things:
- cannot swap watches in store
- position repair center to Beats, Watch, or AirPods
- CANNOT swap watches in store
- you take Apple ID issues
- CANNOT SWAP WATCHES IN STORE
