Just had to throw that out there. Motherhood is such a bittersweet Tim and NOTHINGGGG like the candy canes and rainbows everyone tells you it is. It’s messy, it’s loud, it’s breakdown-inducing. But oh… when that lil baby smiles at you? It’s all worth it.

Weird thing: I love being a mommy. It’s the best thing to have ever happened to me and I wouldn’t trade my son for anything in this freaking dimension. But I also hate it. I hate that basically all of my autonomy is gone and that I don’t know all of my son’s cues yet (cont.)
No, you want to know what’s wild?
My baby is here. Born at 6:02 at 7lbs 4oz and 19.5” long, at one month old he is 9lbs 4oz, 20.5” long, and a perfectly healthy baby boy.
I have not felt a love like this. No one could ever top the love I have for my little boy 🩵
I am so fucking ready to not be pregnant anymore. On top of the damn sciatica and general pregnancy symptoms, now I have restless leg at night.
I can’t sleep. I run off 3-4 hours.
I’m so fucking done.
Pregnancy update: heart palpitations suck, I can’t tell if I’m having contractions or if my son is trying to punch out of my stomach, and I have gone into nesting overdrive and cannot get a full night’s sleep bc of my sciatica.
Plus side: we set an induction date
I’m over it
Another comment on this strategy: the chefs don’t know which challenges they face. If she bought the cook book to gain an advantage, it was a shot in the dark that it would come in handy. Her gamble just so happened to pay off.
Anyone else kinda on the fence about Virginia? I just watched the challenge where she recreated Ramsay’s signature dish and idk about Heather’s accusation of her getting the recipe off the cookbook. Continued in comments-
#HellsKitchen#season2
Now, even if she did get the recipe from the cookbook, that’s strategy. I’m sure if the producers would’ve suspected cheating, they would’ve taken the book away. But they didn’t. That’s sabotage, which is a strategy in competitions.
Virginia plays strategically. She’s taking advantages where she knows she can get them because she is fully aware of her disadvantage on the line. Heather said so herself, Virginia’s ability to think things through threatens her.
She’s playing smart.
Now the construction workers. Any server will tell you that if they pull on the charm, there is a chance for a bigger tip. I certainly got bigger tips when I flirted when I was serving/bartending. That’s another strategy.
For some reason, it’s so funny to me when my client’s wife overloads her nurses and helpers with pictures and stories, acting like they know everyone she’s talking about.
I’m just like “hehehehe yes welcome to my EVERY DAY”
Quick vent as I wait to pick up my client’s breakfast: if you are someone who already ordered, please, for the love of god, do not wait right at the counter. You’ll just confuse the employees and annoy the rest of us in line. Don’t be that guy
