@ntg392@SenRickScott Taiwan has never been ruled by the CCP, yet the CCP routinely (daily) invades Taiwan’s ADIZ and tries to marginalize Taipei in international settings.
@LupitaFiasca@allymutnick@JakeSherman No. People should vote on the merits of the legislation in front of them. Voting for or against rules based on the content within the rule itself should be much more common. Treating rank and file members as pawns to be controlled isn’t a good thing for the institution.
@BuriedUnderCats@SenRickScott Your sovereignty is the byproduct of good fortune and living next to a state that provides you with the greatest security blanket imaginable
@ntg392@SenRickScott I think Taiwan, Tibet, Inner Mongolia, Xinjiang, Hong Kong, and numerous Chinese FDI recipients might have something to say about the laughably ignorant statement that China doesn’t threaten sovereignty. Of course they do.
@FederalistRedux@SenRickScott And fwiw, Scott DID try to become majority leader instead of Thune. I would target the mods of the conference. They are useless.
@FederalistRedux@SenRickScott Let’s be clear about something - if you want to depose Thune, you’d need 27 senators - half of the Republican conference, and there’s nowhere near that number. Scott, Lee, and Johnson can scream all they want and it wouldn’t help. You want change? Don’t vote for people who stink.
China is our number one adversary, and they must be stopped. They have a 100 year plan to stop us. They’re buying up American farmland, land near our military bases, and they’re even buying American children. As a Chief Counsel in Congress, I helped lead the fight to stop China. As your next Congressman, I will carry that work forward.
