@ShaneSchaetzel Lay off Bshp Lucia. Hes done a lot for trad Catholics. SYR has 2 liberal ⛪️ . They had more in late 90s. Bshp Lucia built bridges w/SSPX B4 the ordinations. He brought ICKSP to his diocese to save a tLM comm. Lucia is by far competent. 1 Church by SU pushed the envelope. Move on.
@Pontifex Your Holyness, please also understand that there is active participation at many TLM communities. Honestly, it’s easier to actively participate & focus at a TLM rather than N/O w/ much less distractions & busyness. Please loosen some of the restrictions of Traditionis Custodes 🙏
@garyleff Im surprised it took this long for the change. I just didnt like how it sounded like a benefit: “Soon get upgrades to premium economy!” Not mentioning the instead of FC part! Im curious how the upgrade email will read though:We upgraded you free to Prem Econ, for $xxx go to FC!
@mfjlewis Lets assume SSPX is correct, they can appeal. How does the appeal go:Did you ordain/were you ordained bishop 7/1/26? Were you missing required auth? Did you protest the Holy See at any point in illicit ordination? If “yes” to 2 or more of these questions, excommunication stands.
@garyleff If they did all better meals, I’d make a floor for last minute upgrades. Cost of the prem meal plus 2 bags per💺 . They could also look at old 500 mile upgrade model. It’d be better for elites than current way. I think elites would use miles more for upgrades than seats that way.
@garyleff I’d be reluctant to depending on costs. Can you imagine when they don’t load a premium meal so they refund you 40% of the upcharge? I’d rather a focus on a solid FC & coach product, consistently. The basic Econ, & Econ+; and now basic business is getting to be a bit much already.
@mfjlewis Ok, then valid & licit; no questions. I feel like that’d be the exciting part for a bishop too! Like holding the Stanley cup up after the win. Except the SSPX bishops didn’t get to do that … kinda cuz the referee said someone else was actually the winners 😬
@LiveandLetsFly ^ to be clear, I think this was b4 the “no junk fee push” but I’m never a fan of the govt hiding taxes in pricing. The way tickets are sold today (add ons in all classes) there is already confusion that should be “clearer by law” & the net of tax rule seems outdated to this model
@LiveandLetsFly … If they want to come up w/ a useful search policy, they should allow you to block basic econ tickets from a search! Selecting basic econ vs main, vs main extra/+ is where real confusion is (and at the airport, not checkout!) Repeal the “no junk fee” rules & fix real problems
@garyleff … and with the exception of gas, I can’t think of too many prices we normally see after tax? I don’t think I’ve ever ended up with paying that first price I’ve clicked on anytime (recently anyways), so personally I think it should be scrapped!
@garyleff Honestly, I liked it better the old way. You knew what you were paying at checkout & you could see what you’re paying exactly at checkout. Now it’s more confusing cuz you can’t block basic econ on your searches, there is a menu of “up charges” not well linked to your status…
