I sent a risky text at 2:17am.
“Hey… are you awake?”
It was to someone I hadn’t spoken to in almost a year.
We didn’t fight.
We just… stopped.
You know how that happens.
No reply.
I stared at my screen for 5 minutes, then 10.
I almost deleted the message.
Then my phone buzzed.
“I was just thinking about you.”
I froze.
We ended up talking till almost 5am—laughing like nothing ever changed.
Before we slept, they said something that stuck with me:
“I thought you forgot about me.”

Crazy how both people can care… and still stay silent.
Be honest—have you ever wanted to text someone but didn’t? 👇
A big weakness of mine is I still care deeply for those I've helped and supported, but who did not reciprocate when I was in need. I've cut them out of my life because it was basically one sided, but I still care immensely for them. I wish didn't.
