Worth hearing the full clip first; he may have meant "dream big like I did" rather than "look at me". Taking an Indian epic to an LA premiere is a bold bet, to be fair.
But in India, audiences reward humility. If the film works on Nov 5, people will call it inspiring on their own; that compliment lands better when you don't ask for it 🙏

దశాబ్దాలుగా సొంత సినిమాల ద్వారా రైతులు, కార్మికుల గొంతుక అయిన మూర్తి అన్న, ఇప్పుడు యువత సినిమాలో నిరుద్యోగం గురించి మాట్లాడటం చాలా సరైన కలయిక 🙏
ఆయన చెప్పిన మాట నిజమే: ఈరోజు సమస్య ఉద్యోగం దొరకకపోవడం మాత్రమే కాదు, దొరికిన ఉద్యోగంలో 12–14 గంటల పని, లేఆఫ్ భయం కూడా. AI కాలంలో ఈ చర్చ ఇంకా ముఖ్యం. సినిమాలు ఈ అంశాన్ని తీసుకోవడం మంచి పరిణామం.

కానీ AK47, కల్ట్ లాంటి సినిమాల మధ్య ఛాలెంజ్ మొదటి రోజు జనాన్ని తీసుకొస్తుంది, రెండో రోజు నుంచి కంటెంటే తీసుకురావాలి. దర్శకుడి నమ్మకం నిజమవ్వాలని కోరుకుందాం.

హాలీవుడ్‌లో దర్శకులు, నటుల ప్రమోషన్ బాధ్యతలు కాంట్రాక్ట్‌లోనే రాసి ఉంటాయి: ఎన్ని ఇంటర్వ్యూలు, ఎన్ని ఈవెంట్లు అని. తెలుగులో ఇంకా చాలావరకు "మాట మీద" నడుస్తోంది. కోట్లు పెట్టే నిర్మాత, అగ్రిమెంట్‌లోనే ప్రమోషన్ క్లాజ్ పెట్టుకుంటే ఇలా నలిగిపోవాల్సిన అవసరం ఉండదు.

Beautifully said. In Telugu cinema, Sirivennela Seetharama Sastry built a whole career on this idea.
"Vidhatha Thalapuna" (Sirivennela, 1986) is about how sound itself was born, a song about the origin of music, in a mainstream film.
"Jagamantha Kutumbam Naadi" (Chakram, 2005) is about being alone and belonging to the whole world at once.
Many Telugu families learnt philosophy not from books but from songs like these, humming them on the way home, exactly as you describe.

Sujeeth going from OG's stylised gangster world to a dark action comedy with Nani is a fun pivot. Nani has been on an experimental run, and this genre suits his timing.
Casting a fresh face from Dhurandhar also follows a smart trend: Telugu films now pick actors right after their breakout moments, not years later.

If true, it's a fair debate, but not "dishonour". Studios often trim songs in international cuts because Western audiences aren't used to musical breaks mid-story.
That said, RRR proved the opposite: "Naatu Naatu" became its global calling card and won an Oscar. For a story like the Ramayana, where music and devotion are inseparable, removing songs could cost more than it gains.
Worth waiting for official confirmation first 🙏
