@MalcolmNance I’m going to say there is an almost 100% chance that Trump js undertaking this project because it will benefit his family and/or his cronies. Most things with Trump are more about financial corruption than they are him being stupid or crazy.
@NancyMace Your Twitter feeds reads like a bad audition to be a Fox News host. Unfortunately, your best options post-Congress if you’re lucky will be the off brand Fox News knockoff channels but I’m not even sure that they will accept you given the lame takes you spew out.
@GuntherEagleman He really should play a televised round so we can all see for ourselves how great he is! Oh, wait, that won’t happen because it would expose him as a fraud.
@mychaelschnell He’s not a “no.” He’s just not a “yes” as of now. He will be soon and so will Cronyn. Neither has the backbone to do the right thing. This is for show. After Blanche breaks his promises to them, they’ll say how shocked and disappointed they are that he did so.
@austinjha@DrNeilStone Any bullshit charge they want to make up. He didn’t commit any crimes but that won’t stop these loons from prosecuting him. Look at the comments from Tommy Tuberville and the AL state AG today.
@Wolmsicus@WrdnMs@davidemccune@DrNeilStone It’s because he committed no crimes. Any charges would be politically motivated and absurd, much like some of the other asinine prosecutions Trump has brought against Comey, the guy who put his hand in the reflecting pool, and others.
@Michael96451896@jasondhass@Kevinmarc7822@DrNeilStone Not just that. He could face state law charges still. A pardon applies only to federal crimes. Only a moron wouldn’t take the 5th under these circumstances. You will eventually see lots of Republicans who get pardoned by Trump do the same in future proceedings.
@jasondhass@Kevinmarc7822@DrNeilStone He could face state law charges still. A pardon applies only to federal crimes. Only an idiot or an idiot with an idiot lawyer would not plead the 5th in Fauci’s position. You will eventually see lots of Republicans who get pardoned by Trump do the same in future proceedings.
@WrdnMs@davidemccune@DrNeilStone He also could be prosecuted for state crimes. Pardon only applies to federal crimes. So for the reason you cite plus the risk of a state prosecution his very capable lawyers told him to take the 5th just like anyone — Republican or Democrat — would in this situation.
@davidemccune@DrNeilStone No. The pardon applies only to federal crimes. He could be charged by a state — in fact, Tuberville threatened today that he will have Fauci prosecuted if he is elected governor of AL. A lot of “internet lawyers” on here who went to law school at Trump U spreading misinfo.
@iahphx@hughhewitt Nice fantasy. Trump will do nothing b/c there is nothing he can do w/out Iran responding in kind to our Middle East allies. Trump foolishly put us in a corner in which Iran is holding better cards.
@KevinBlake30095@hughhewitt Great plan. Iran will respond in kind by blowing up infrastructure in Saudi Arabia or another country that is aligned with the U.S. There is a reason why Trump hasn’t blown up any infrastructure like a bridge or pp and it’s not that he’s afraid of being a “war criminal.”
