Mainstream media is missing out on the good news that Tourism at the Kenya coast is kicking and this is why .
1.✅️At 3.30am this morning Mombasa shall welcome first charter from Prague Czech after a 10 year break.
2. ✅️From 7am to 9 am Mombasa shall welcome 3 dreamliners from Italy. Every week since October we have had 6 flights from Italy per week and as many from Poland.
3. ✅️Bulgaria , Romania , Netherlands and hopefully UK all in the pipeline.
4. ✅️14 flights Dreamliners by Ethiopian per week.
5. ✅️Discover Airlines by Lufthansa 5 flights a week.
6. ✅️Our own national carrier is handling 9 to 12 flights a day Nbi Msa
7. ✅️From 14th Fly Dubai direct flight to Msa, 4 flights a week and hopefully it will move to daily flight.
8.✅️End Jan we welcome one of the largest cruise ships with over 2500 passengers + crew 3000+
9. ✅️Talking about low cost carrier , Jambo Jet is doing the following :
✅️NBO-MBA 9 flights a day.
✅️NBO- Diani 3 or 4 flights a day.
✅️NBO-Malindi 4 or 5 flights a day.
✅️NBO-Lamu 1 flight a day.
✅️Add Safari Link and Skywards into the mix.
✅️Icing on the cake will be the 3 daily trains SGR between Nbi & Msa.
🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎Simply put Kenya coast is happy. Those flight not only support the beach resorts they also benefit camps in Amboseli in Kajiado County and even Mara in Narok including Taita Taveta. It's NOT just about Mombasa. Open skies is just an enabler and our national carrier and local carriers will NOT be poorer
