With new jobs people are okay with low starting pay until they gain experience, but with trading they want to double their money in the first month. That is a perfect mindset for losing your whole account quickly.
If you're watching the price every hour you will most likely sell too early and miss the big move.
Bitcoin is up 100% last 3months and 200% last 6 months. You needed to do nothing, why make it difficult?
7 mistakes I made when I was a new trader:
1 No research
2 Not adding enough cash to my account
3 Not creating a trading system
4 Trusting my opinions & predictions
5 Listening to other’s opinions & predictions
6 Being stubborn
7 Not using signals
How many are you making?
Trading is easy in concept but difficult in execution
The more you want to win on every trade, the harder it is
It can be hard because you want the perfect entry and exit, or because you hate to lose money on any one trade
Accepting big wins & small losses makes it easier
My trading has been ruled by the Pareto Principle. 85% of my career profits have come from 15% of trades. This means that 85% of my trades are throw aways. This means that my job is to allow the 15% become the 15% and apply aggressive trade mgmt to the 85%
In trading it’s hard to teach:
Pulling the trigger on an entry
Critical thinking
Creativity
Mental discipline
Perseverance
Humility
Doing the research work
Judgement
Mind set
Passion
Avoiding bias
Managing risk
Some lessons have to be experienced through losses
Take your M.E.D.S.
* MEDITATION. It's easy to be constantly doing with no time to be.
* EXERCISE. Our body needs to be stretched. It's a use it or lose it.
* DIET. Food for energy which builds and augments rather than destroys.
* SLEEP. Get the correct amount, feel great.-@Kpaxs
Consistently timing the market is impossible. You WILL often miss top and bottoms. However, you do not need to buy the bottom and sell the top to make money. You only need to catch the swings in between.
Stress-Free Trading:
Step 1: Mark out your HTF support levels.

Step 3: Wait for an alert to trigger.
Step 4: Move to LTF and see if bullish reaction.
Step 5: Set buy orders on a H4 pullback to key levels.
