Tempe friends & neighbors, we seriously need a Citizen Budget Review Commission, a volunteer board like our other successful city commissions.
It would review Tempe’s $1.7 billion budget, analyze major projects for feasibility, examine reserves and forecasts, and give the Mayor and Council valuable citizen input on our finances.
This would bring greater transparency, help residents better understand where our tax dollars go, and support smarter, long-term decisions for our city.
If you support stronger fiscal oversight and community voice in budgeting, please sign and share!

Let’s make this happen for Tempe.

What an absolute honor, D-MAK Productions has been named to the Sun Devil 100 for the fifth year in a row!
The Sun Devil 100 is ASU’s prestigious annual program recognizing the fastest-growing alumni-owned and alumni-led organizations. To make the list, companies must be ASU alumni-led, in business for at least three years, meet strong revenue thresholds, and operate in alignment with the ASU Charter.
I’m incredibly proud to share this milestone with my college best friend and business partner, Danny McManus. Building D-MAK Productions together, our video production and AV services company, has been one of the greatest blessings in my life.
Every year this recognition hits different. It’s a powerful reminder that I’m already living my dreams… everything else is just the cherry on top.
Grateful beyond words. 🔥🏜️

Buongiorno amici! 🇮🇹⚾️ Today is a dream day for this proud Italian-American as the Los Angeles Angels are hosting Team Italy in a World Baseball Classic exhibition game at Tempe Diablo Stadium!
Even better? My incredible Italian sister, Ripalta Bufo, will be singing the Italian National Anthem. Hearing those notes live will give me chills!
As someone extremely passionate about my Italian heritage, Italy Country Director for @SisterCitiesInt
and board advisor for the Arizona Italian American Chamber of Commerce, this feels like a perfect celebration of roots, sport, and community.
I'm also thrilled to be part of it as a member of Tempe Diablos Charities. One of our biggest fundraisers is parking lot duty at these games, raising around $700K annually to fuel incredible impact: high school and college/trade school scholarships for Tempe teens (we've awarded over $5M total to 1,200+ students!), community grants to nearly 100 local nonprofits each year (supporting youth programs, families, education, Thanksgiving dinners for those in need, teacher excellence awards, and more), and programs that strengthen our entire Tempe community.
I'll be hustling in the parking lot during my shift, then sticking around after to soak in the game, the energy, and that beautiful Italian pride.
If you're heading to Tempe Diablo Stadium today, drop a comment or DM me, I'd love to connect, say ciao, and maybe grab a quick photo! Forza Italia! 💙❤️

Today is the last recommended day to mail back your ballot for the Tempe City Council election! 📬
I'm Joe Forte — a 20-year Tempe resident, Navy veteran, small business owner, and independent candidate running for Tempe City Council. It would be an honor to earn your vote and serve our community.
This is a multi-seat race where voters can select up to three candidates — but to truly maximize your impact and help shake up the status quo by unseating incumbents, the most effective strategy is single-shot voting: Vote ONLY for Joe Forte.
By concentrating your vote on one challenger instead of spreading it across multiple names, your ballot carries far more weight and punch. It's the smartest way to drive real change on the Council.
Here's how to make sure your voice is heard:
- Mail it today — Tuesday, March 3 (recommended last day for timely delivery)
- In-person early or replacement voting: March 3–6 & 9 at the Tempe History Museum
- Election Day: Tuesday, March 10 (6 a.m.–7 p.m.)
Single-shot strategy: Vote ONLY Joe Forte.
Whether you mail it right now, drop it off soon, or plan to vote in person — let's finish strong together and build a better Tempe!
#Forte4Tempe #GoWithJoe #SingleShot #TempeElection
Big win for Midtown Tempe neighborhoods! Last Wednesday, the Board of Adjustments rejected a disruptive EV charging station project that would have flooded peaceful residential streets with extra traffic.
I fought this from the start, voting NO on the Development Review Commission (one of only two), then speaking up strongly at the appeal. The neighbors invested serious time, money, and effort to protect their community, and I’m proud to have stood with them every step.
This is what I’ll bring to Tempe City Council: tireless defense of neighborhoods and small businesses against poorly thought-out projects and overreach, even when I’m the lone voice. No more 7-0 status quo. Promises made = promises kept.
- Balanced budget
- Fewer fees/regulations crushing small businesses
- Revitalized Mill Avenue
- Bringing a bowl game back
…and more
If you want a real fighter in office, I’m your guy.
⏰ Only DAYS left—act NOW!
📬 Mail by Tuesday, March 3 (recommended last day)
🏛 In-person early/replacement: March 3–6 & 9 at Tempe History Museum
🗳️ Election Day: March 10 (6am–7pm)
Single-shot strategy: Vote ONLY Joe Forte.
Mail it today. Drop it off soon. Or vote in person. Let’s finish strong!
