@brandenharalson Senate leadership told the majority caucus that the budget would be taken up for deliberation on Monday of this week (two days ago). It was put off until yesterday - still no budget.
Today, it’s still not ready. Yet, it’s my fault?
@RyanJohnsonMO Since the corporate income tax was reduced to 4% (from 6.25%), revenue has INCREASED to over $770 million (from approximately $350 million).
Could it be the lower rate attracted business? Or, more product was sold?
Perhaps, employees earned more $, too.
@MOEdWatch@RickBrattin@MOFreedomCaucus@BillEigel Actually, the letter we discussed was in reference to the law - specifically, the MO constitution (Article III, sections 21 and 23), which we have consistently ignored and failed to follow. I’m happy others want to join in on my 11 year quest. I’ll happily lead the way.
@WyattWheeler_NL If the play was not at the goal line, would it have been overturned? Doubtful. Simply because two hands were on the ball at one point does not make it a catch.
@Upcycled_Diva@Jim_Jordan Those words have never been uttered by me! Knowing two minors who married one another is not the same as approving marriage between minors.
"Using the blue jays resources to make better decisions to better educate myself..."
Same picture. The lack of courage of men is dooming our culture. When this moment comes for each of us (as it probably will) pray there are enough of us willing to hold the line for liberty.
@piper4missouri @MAG4SPUD @AGAndrewBailey So, you say that because I stated that I know two minors who married (some 40 years ago), that I argued in support for the right for minors to marry? That’s absurd!
A city cannot simply ignore state law, even if they believe mutilating and permanently sterilizing children is moral behavior.
Thank you @AGAndrewBailey for reminding KC law enforcement of their duty to protect the most vulnerable!
@Jeremy_Danner Hello, you’ve reached the voicemail box of Missouri State Senator Mike Moon. I’m sorry I can’t take your phone call right now… I’m on the Senate floor - working (I guess that’s why my voice mailbox is full).
I had the pleasure of joining @scottfaughn this morning to discuss the last week of session and Senate Bill 49. During my time as a legislator, I have consistently opposed omnibus bills. Unfortunately, toward the end of legislative session, we begin to see more and more bills turn into massive, omnibus packages. Omnibus legislation may contain sections of unvetted language, which can cause unintended harm to the citizens of Missouri. In this interview, I discussed my plan to slow things down so we, as a legislature, have time to vet bills.
