@konrad_rokicki A great collaboration between @realMouseLight and Janelia Scientific Computing to make the MouseLight workstation run in the cloud extending our ability to collaborate and trace neurons w/ synaptic resolution and with long range projections #openscience#teamscience@HHMIJanelia
@TonyZador On average we are currently reconstructing the full morphology of >100 neurons per brain. The current "record" holder is a brain with 180 neurons completely traced.
The @realMouseLight Project Team has traced more than 1,000 neurons in the mouse brain. Their paper on this milestone is published today in @CellCellPress. Check out the story and video here. https://t.co/BDOw7FW4UK
HHMI News: @HHMIJanelia scientists have mapped more than 1,000 neurons in the mouse brain as part of their MouseLight project. It’s the most extensive neural wiring diagram available, and the data are accessible online: https://t.co/HLPuRDPdWw
Check out our new manuscript on bioRxiv: "Reconstruction of 1,000 projection neurons reveals new cell types and organization of long-range connectivity in the mouse brain" https://t.co/E9k1fqBmPd
Come join us for our poster presentation at SFN on Monday from 8 AM to 12 PM (with live demo of the MouseLight NeuronBrowser!). Board VV34 @Neurosci2017 #sfn17
@OptoQuestion Our annotators are indeed the true heroes of the project! :) While tracing is partially automated now it still requires human interaction
