Back to today- I have taken time to read hours and hours of your comments. You have kept me afloat today, you have given me a lifeline. Just about right now I would be leaving our house and heading to the airport to pick him up from DC. Our date night, chatting and catching up on the week. Home to bed and our pups and binging a series he started on a plane and didn’t get to finish-
We live in the Nashville area now the past few years, it was Reno for over a decade before this. Tonight I won’t be going to the airport. Instead, tonight I am writing to all of you that loved my husband, to all of you that my husband loved and cherished… to thank you for giving me something to hold onto on my favorite night of the week, when he came home- when it’s so easy to go under and lose myself in the depths of this brand new ocean of loss and despair.
