Tied to the liberalisation, is also the secularisation trend. Catholicism declined from 87.6% to 71.3% in just 10 years.

Poland's very fast liberalisation trend is visble not just in these election results.

For example by 2020, close to one 1/3 of Poland was declared by their local authorities as "LGBT free zones", (map on the left) but by 2023, few of those remained (map on the right).
