I love my country, but the collective ignorance of the American people empowers so-called public servants who abuse their positions of trust to push policies that further individual agendas at the expense of the nation they ostensibly serve. Fact-based logic no longer matters.
@RealScottRitter Its amazing at their Group Think Mr. Ritter. Like watch Pompeo boast about lying, cheating and stealing, or those who plot the overthrow of a democratically elected government. These buffoons have their ilk chanting USA USA. Even when War Crimes are committed.
@floridasunfl@RealCandaceO I’ve been to Novosibirsk.
Very lovely and culturally attuned city.
Largest Opera House in Russia.
Leading academic institutions.
Fastest growing economy in Russia.
Have you?
In this segment, @RealScottRitter talks about nuclear terrorism:
"It's not only the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant.
When Ukrainian forces went into Kursk region in a NATO-guided invasion in 2024, their goal was to capture the Kursk nuclear plant.
They are nuclear terrorists. The same mindset that allows Israel to strike a civilian nuclear facility in Bushehr while the US tolerates it.
You cannot strike a nuclear power plant. Zero tolerance."
Scott Ritter tells me that CNN and the BBC should stop being treated as journalistic outlets and be called what they are: propaganda tools.
He argues that voices like his are smeared as “Russian propagandists” while real open discussion is more possible here than on major Western networks.
“We’re having a fair and freer conversation here right now than CNN or BBC will ever have.”
My guest @RealScottRitter compares Zelensky's words with his actions:
"Twenty-one students were killed in Starobelsk. Teenagers.
As the St. Petersburg Economic Forum got underway, 55 drones arrived from the direction of the Baltics — two of them struck Kronstadt, leaving a pall of black smoke over the city.
Zelensky's letter was written to ensure that peace would never actually come.
Putin wants peace, but he is committed to this war, which will not end until it's won on terms acceptable by Russia"
Steve Rosenberg of the BBC turned up to work the St Petersburg Economic Forum, buffet and all, for the same network that sent an official letter refusing to film the teenagers buried under the rubble of the Starobelsk college.
Maria Zakharova's verdict: "Spit in his face and he'll tell you it's raining".
Home to a government that just reburied Andrei Melnyk with honors.
A Nazi collaborator with the blood of tens of thousands of Jews on his hands.
And even more Poles.
Home to a government that ordered the murder of 21 sleeping college students.
And home to a population that thinks all this is ok.
Sow the wind.
Reap the whirlwind.
Enjoy the ride, Kate.
You bought the ticket.
Now quit bitching about the destination.
THE SCUD HUNTERS: CHAPTER NINE
Endgame
Shortly after his arrival in Ar’ Ar’, on February 12, Lieutenant Colonel Roger “Ike” Slaughter, the B Squadron commander, met with the Colonel Peter Schoomaker and Major General Wayne Downing to decide how the newly arrived operators would carry out their assigned mission. Slaughter had spent years in the Special Forces, including service in Panama and El Salvador. One of his last assignments before joining Delta Force was as a member of the United Nations observer force in Israel. Slaughter was well versed on the stakes involved in his mission.

THE REVENGE TOUR, 2026
Two years ago US agents removed me from a flight to Russia, where I was scheduled to speak at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. Today I am getting on that plane and making that flight.

@VsimPohuy You’re very hung ho for war.
And yet you sit on your ass in Canada while others fight and die for the cause you espouse.
I’m thinking you best personify the sobriquet “bitch”.
I’ve been to the Russian ballet in both Moscow and St. Petersburg.
While I’m more of a Springsteen concert kind of guy ( with a preference for old-school Springsteen), I am cultured enough to appreciate beauty when I see it.
Russian theater is for the Russian people.
It is not the playground of the rich and famous, but the day to day Russians who love their culture and history.
Novosibirsk has the largest opera building in all of Russia.
Stalin made its construction during WW2 a priority because of the importance he and all Russians placed on culture.
Culture is part of the Russian DNA.
If you want to see real Russians, just hang out at the cloak room at the Bolshoi Theater and see who is checking in or picking up their coats during an average performance.
The ignorance of this post is manifest.
The fact that it is written by a still wet behind the ears man-child who calls himself a Russian analyst and yet has no real Russian experience or expertise is just ironic hypocrisy.
I can’t speak for Candace and her circumstances and/or situation.
I have traveled to Russia often over the course of the past few years. Moscow and Saint Petersburg are two frequent stops. These are both amazing cities, well managed, and populated by a vibrant, intelligent people who appreciate their culture and history.
No Potemkin tourist here—I pay my own way, and make my own agenda.
And I share Candace’s sentiments.
I’ve also been to 14 other cities throughout Russia during this time—you know, the “real Russia.”
The “real Russia” is pretty damn impressive as well.
I guess they don’t make Fulbright Scholars like they used to.
A modicum of honest intellectual curiosity could have prevented you from posting such an embarrassing take.
But your resume clearly shows you’ve sold out to the system.
A full time propagandist for American Russophobia.
