@DalLoverMike@GiveSendGo After conviction and sentencing (to 35 years), Anthony filed paperwork declaring himself indigent (“penniless, destitute”) and requested a court-appointed attorney for the appeal. He was assigned one (e.g., Donny Perales) for that stage.
Anthony’s family lost a child, they raised, to prison while the Metcalf family lost a child to death by Karmello. At least the Anthony family gets to visit their child while he lives in prison and sucks off the taxpayer teet. And the Metcalf family gets no restitution for the life they lost.

@BelannF Racists like the man in the video - always the victim, never the victor - take skin color out of the equation and it’s murder.
Seems racism is on life support with this kind of rhetoric.
@clerpatriot The problem with the image:
1. It humanizes animals like people.
2. It demonstrates a lack of information in the kill process.
3. It elevates animals over sentient human life.
And somehow, this stupid crap is given air time for discussion instead of stored in a circular file.
@DrFrankTurek In my experience accountability of the gatekeepers who don’t practice what they preach, and the congregations that prefer isolationism rather than authentic and genuine fellowship with people outside their bubble.
@AMilitantAgnost@DrFrankTurek By that logic, why do we need humanity - its history is also rampant with genocide and totalitarian subjegation. Perfection is a goal that can never be obtained because order and chaos are opposites that always dance - one can’t exist without the other - like good and evil.
@WellsJorda89710 Take out the color of people and the only thing left is elevating the murderer over the victim - that’s the saddest part.
Race then just becomes a color to support an evil act.
Which is worse; racism or the people race baiting as an excuse to support evil actions?
@varrock Apparently you are using the wrong app for this post - this is X, not the cesspool of limited echo chamber thought that was Twitter. Change is a constant like death and taxes - do try to keep up.
@FrogPodDrew@LFRFamily Being a realist, as long as the consequence isn’t death, the generation of young people will learn they can have “fun” in prison without responsibility.
I hope you are right.
@tinytempah235@bwsea44@Doug_Lemov@Uber I’m sure your followers will eat that comment up like a stale cracker.
And, as for replies, it’s amazing how you have not yet figured out that X doesn’t have tweets - this isn’t twitter.
@carrick510@drterrysimpson@TeeMacTV Your ability to comprehend the conversation is very telling about a lack of education and a story of poor development. Do share with the world.
@cagrown5 If Californians didn’t have such high costs, then perhaps farmers wouldn’t have to make up margins by selling to other places in the country, and people could by locally at reasonable prices.
