On this day 13 years ago, my only son was sworn in to the US Army. In ten days, it will be 12 years since he was killed in Afghanistan 2 weeks before he was due to come home. He was just 21. This week is also Memorial Day. My greatest fear now is that he will be forgotten. Please help me remember my boy during this tough week of special dates (share if you feel inspired. It never gets easier but the love and support always helps. ♥️🇺🇸

Jake was a Christian, an athlete, a patriot, an artist, dog lover, a friend to all and the funniest, happiest guy in the platoon. Jake, you’ve left a huge void in our lives, but we will see you one day and there will no more heartache and no more goodbyes ♥️🇺🇸
@all_the_Mindy Totally agree, I hadn't heard that yet. Unfortunately he's a trust fund snake like Fetterman, we need to do a better job of researching them. Maine is the real loser here, Collins will be rolled into the senate until after she's dead to vote in their worst interest
Here’s the deal with social media:
If you know someone currently deployed: no you don’t
If your friend’s dad told you something about their kid: no he didn’t.
If your friend contacted you just to chat: nope. Didn’t happen.
Everyone on social media wants to have more information than everyone else so they can get engagement.
Don’t get people killed for likes.
@TundraPlayTime I just got off the phone with my buddy that is married to a Canadian and works on the rail interchange at the border, you Canadians are really giving a rip. Elbows up!
