A Federal Judge just ruled against a law criminalizing noncitizens voting in federal elections. The judge was installed by Joe Biden right before leaving office in 2024

The federal judge dismissed the federal charge against a Jamaican national accused of voting in Florida in the 2020 election. Dismissing the federal misdemeanor that makes it a crime for a noncitizen to vote in an election with a federal candidate

The federal judge says holding noncitizens accountable for voting is unconstitutional as applied to her because Congress has no power to set who can vote in federal elections. He says only the states have the power, meaning Democrat states can have noncitizens rig our elections
