Ashwin Pampati, senior Vp at @Aptos foundation, Explained why building another decentralized exchange isn’t about adding another DEX to the market, it’s about building a sustainable business.

He explained that many of the existing blockchain primitives are already mature, so the real opportunity lies in leveraging Aptos’ unique architecture, the Move programming language, and deep composability to build products that can compete with centralized exchanges while preserving the benefits of decentralization.

According to Pampati, the focus shouldn’t be on infrastructure for infrastructure’s sake, but on building consumer-facing products with strong long-term value and a superior user experience.
