You don’t do this for likes, for feelings, or even for results you can see right now. You do it because the same God who raised Christ from the dead lives in you (Romans 8:11), and He’s not done building strength through suffering.
A cool practice I’d like to share today is to imagine the people walking on the street is you, what are they thinking? Feeling? You start to actually feel they are you.
You don’t have what you want because you’re not as good as you think you are.
And you’re not as good as you think you are because you think you worked a lot longer and a lot harder than you really did.
The people beating you worked longer than you or harder than you, or both.
@joelampton_ When I was a kid, older kids from music class dragged me away to fight me at the stairs, despite being smaller I fought as hard as I can. Then we became friends and I never got bullied from that class. I always look back in smile.
