Veggie Bucks was a big hit today! 49 kids came, tried a new recipe, and enjoyed a physical challenge. It's one of my favorite things about my job. Visit us again Tuesday for the final round of Veggie Bucks! If you came the first time kids, you can come back!

Last week we made our annual journey to Zilpo. It was a week of work, relaxation, tradition, & quality family time. This week I'm back with my nose to the grindstone. First day back we had not one but TWO community classes! Fun times!

When you get a bad case of insomnia, don't sleep AT ALL, & decide 4 a.m. is a good time to cook. Then realize don't have any bacon or sausage handy. So you sneek into your own bedroom & snag a pint of venison sausage patties from your jars under the bed. Breakfast is served.
