@JaneyGodley It wasn't London but 10yrs later in Sth Essex- my primary school did look very much like that.And there was a small swimming pool because 'The Dads' built it. I remember being very proud my dad helped build the pool (he was not super 'handy' and never got involved in school ever)

I'm over in UK and no clue what's going on there or who he is but I feel for him
