Official statement for Real Bedford regarding delays in delivery of our 23/24 season kits by @MacronSports authorised distributor @MacronHerts.

[Peter McCormack 🏴‍☠️🇬🇧🇮🇪 @PeterMcCormack]

Sadly, we have begun legal proceedings against @MacronSports authorised distributor @macronherts today.

Despite approving designs for kits on July 13th and paying in full for all kits, we have not received any of the orders.

Further investigation has worryingly uncovered the following:
1. Macron Herts delayed ordering our senior men's and ladies' kits for 5-6 weeks. Adam Harpur of Macron Sports wrote to us on July 28th, indicating a delivery date of w/c August 14th, yet did not place the orders until August 21st and August 28th.

When we chased deliveries, we were informed on August 16th, "it's being produced, I can't track between factory and HQ. But when it's at HQ and in transit to me I can. I'm asking questions every other day trust me."

We now know this was a lie, as no kits had been ordered.

2. Those kits which were finally ordered on August 21st and 28th contained errors despite Macron Herts being provided with detailed specifications of the orders.

3. Marcon Herts has not yet placed an order for the 21* kits ordered for our girls' junior teams. This is an unexplained 9 week delay, and these teams now have no kits of training gear for the start of the season.

We have made every attempt to find a resolution with both @MacronSports and @macronherts.

In 25 years of business, I have never witnessed such abject failure in service and delivery, let alone the terrible customer service and lack or urgency to find a resolution.

These delays will severely impact our club. We encourage @MacronSports to step up and find a resolution.
