This is my 2nd go-round on Twitter. I don't care how many followers you have, it doesn't determine the validity of your statement. Happy to engage in respectful dialogue. Will block trolls in a heartbeat.
@Flackfizer@TaylorRMarshall Yes. Manna. Victim of auto correct. Just as Jesus was not referring to the Eucharist when he told the Satan that "Man does not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God," neither was he referring to the Eucharist here.
@Flackfizer@TaylorRMarshall Well, according to the gospels, Jesus said a LOT of things that turned people away... mostly things that went counter to their Messianic expectations. Specifically in John 6, his identification of himself with a man that came out of heaven during the journey in the wilderness.
@Flackfizer@TaylorRMarshall Perhaps I'm too dense to understand your question. Quite possible. What are you asking me? And how does this relate to the fact that whenever he said "eat my flesh and drink my blood" he's talking about taking himself into other people by obeying his teachings?
@JesusSaves1500 I would say yes, with the ultimate goal of using that knowledge to become "wise unto salvation" and being transformed into Christlikeness...
