I think Grace character was written in a way that’s actually extremely easy to see her humanity & give her benefit of the doubt. I think the actual challenge has been ppls inability to simply acknowledge how it was *still a selfish act from a person who didn’t care about them fr. As someone who stands on principle, it’s spooky to see people completely justify their reasonings for going against the group without a plan in a moment of crisis. Smoke, Annie & Slim reassured her that they would fight for her bc they wanted her to get home in the morning & she still jeopardized the group & didn’t even help them fight for real. Please don’t @ me with more surface level justification. I already get it.
